๐Ÿ’ Zombie Chains

Introduction

On October 27, 2021, CardanoDan unveiled a transformative contribution to the Cardano NFT space, forever etched in history as Zombie Chains. In the NFT market of 2021, Cardano was still finding its footing, prompting CardanoDan's visionary decision to enlist the talents of world-renowned artist Brian Allen. Boasting an unparalleled resume featuring esteemed clients such as Metallica, Gritty of the Philadelphia Flyers, Hulk Hogan, Activision, and 311, Brian Allen was invited to share his artistic brilliance with the Cardano community. The collaborative effort also involved the expertise of Chris, known as reliablestaking, who played a pivotal role in developing the minting and web page features. This strategic collaboration marked a watershed moment, positioning Zombie Chains as a trailblazer within the Cardano NFT ecosystem.

Zombie Chains quickly asserted its dominance, securing the top spot in sales on the original NFT marketplace, cnft.io, for an impressive four consecutive weeks. The zombie-themed NFTs emerged as a focal point of discussions and admiration within the CNFT community, establishing themselves as one of the most sought-after collections.

One distinguishing feature of Zombie Chains was its deliberate choice to forgo a traditional roadmap, a decision rooted in a commitment to transparency. While this approach resonated with many, some in the community expressed expectations for more. To address this, the team introduced Discord Roles, providing varying levels of credibility to holders. These roles, coupled with the distribution of Zombie Coins, added an extra layer of engagement and collectability, with six distinct coins, each increasing in rarity based on the holder's role.

A significant announcement followed, introducing a new 10,000 asset mint known as Zombie Hunters. This decision stirred a divide within the community, with contrasting views on its impact on supply. Despite differing opinions, the 10,000 Zombie Hunters were released to the public on January 26, 2022, further expanding the Zombie Chains universe.

In a bid to enhance community engagement, the team unveiled Zombie Fight Club on February 16, 2022, promising utility without divulging specific details until Q4 of 2022. During the anticipation, Brian Allen collaborated with Chilled Kongs, Clay Nation, and Spacebudz to craft 12 Trading Cards, offering holders a unique and artistic addition to their collections.

Navigating the challenges of the 2022 Bear Market, Zombie Chains remained true to its commitment, launching Zombie Fight Club in the first week of Q1 2023. This groundbreaking utility allowed Zombies and Hunters to engage in battles, producing NFTs on the fly. While well-received, the community initially grappled with comprehending the value of Alien and Fight Card NFTs generated from these engagements. As the journey unfolded, community members exhibited unwavering dedication, forming a DAO to extend Zombie Chains' legacy.

Despite challenges during the Bear Market, the community persisted, ultimately reaching out to CNFTHoarder, Founder of Hoarder's Collections, in Q1 2023. Together, they devised a plan to expand upon Zombie Fight Club's offerings, laying the groundwork for this whitepaperโ€”a culmination of a visionary two-year endeavor.
